moto x android 5.1 ota

Motorola has started seeding an official Android 5.1 Lollipop firmware build (222.21.15) for the old Moto X 1st Generation. Motorola has always supported the original Moto X. It has provided frequent software updates, from Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean to 4.4 KitKat and now Android 5.1 Lollipop. The new OTA update brings many new things to the table. There is Material Design UI, improved notifications menu, recent apps, Moto Display and Ambient Display, Moto Assist, flashlight toggle in the Quick Settings panel, improved performance, and enhanced battery.
