Install Galaxy Note 4 Exclusive Apps on Galaxy Note 3 (GeoNews, Montblanc, Optical Reader)

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has set new standards in the phablet category, being the best device in this field. Featuring a 5.7″ QHD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 805 chipset, huge battery and a bag of Touchwiz features, the Galaxy Note 4 is the device to beat. And no phone has managed to do so.

The Galaxy Note 4 comes with a variety of software features and applications. This is a tradition of Samsung and its Toucwhiz skin software. The Note 4 has a huge amount of exclusive apps that no other Galaxy device has, let alone other Android phones.

The Touchwiz software that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with is filled with features. Some of them are useful and some of them are gimmicks. Thanks to a collaboration between Samsung and MontBlanc, the Galaxy Note 4 enjoys some exclusive apps thanks to the famous German manufacturer.

Fortunately, someone managed the get the APK files of the original apps that come with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. These are ported and can be installed on both versions of the Note 3: SM-N900 and SM-N9005. The phone needs to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop for the apps to work.

There are four exclusive apps from the Note 4 that you can install on your Note 3:

  • GeoNews
  • Montblanc Content
  • Optical Reader
  • SnapBizCard

With Montblanc content, you get some new pen heads to enhance writing and drawing experience, as well as fancy wallpapers with the ink lockscreen effect. GeoNews is a useful app where you can get various geo-targeted news. With Optical Reader, you can turn any text in real life in a virtual one. For example, if you see a phone number in a magazine, you can quickly open the app, capture the number and the phone will call that number.

All the apps mentioned above can be installed on the Galaxy Note 3 without root access. All you have to do is to download the respective zip files, extract them and install the APK file.
