Facebook is finally releasing Dark Mode to all Android and iOS users. Facebook is currently undergoing a big design change, affecting its mobile app and website. The company changed the Facebook logo to a lighter shade of blue, finally moving on from the original blue tone that was an icon of the social media behemoth. Furthermore, the blue navigation bar that has been with the company ever since its inception is now gone. The main color of the navigation is now white, with a lighter blue Facebook icon taking its place on the left.
The biggest complaint from mobile users is the obnoxiously bright user interface. Ever since the redesign of both the website and the mobile app, the main color theme is white instead of blue. This makes it hard on the user’s eyes while browsing. Facebook eventually released Dark Mode on its website, allowing users to darken the user interface. However, Android and iOS were left behind, as there was no Dark Mode for them, until now.
The latest Facebook update has finally introduced Dark Mode to both Android and iOS platforms. According to a Twitter post by Jane Manchun Wong, Facebook is publicly testing Dark Mode on its mobile app. The feature is available on the latest 295.0.0.26.119 beta version of the app. However, it appears that Dark Mode is slowly rolling out, so it might not appear on your phone for a while.
According to a Facebook company spokesperson, people will start seeing the option in their Facebook app settings soon as they continue rolling it out globally.

How To Enable Dark Mode on the Facebook mobile app?
If you have updated to the latest Facebook version, the Dark Mode option should be available from the settings menu. To enable it, open the Facebook app and tap the three horizontal lines on the top right side of the phone. Scroll down and tap on Settings & Privacy. There should be a toggle. Tap on the toggle to switch from Light Mode to Dark Mode.
