OnePlus has released two new beta builds for the OnePlus 6 and 6T. The company has been constantly providing new beta updates for its flagship phones and has never missed the deadlines. This time around, OnePlus 6 has received OxygenOS Beta 11 and OnePlus 6T has received Open Beta 3.
Both builds bring new features, performance enhancements, and improved security. Beta 3 and 11 are based on the latest Android Pie version with the January Android security patch version. The changelog includes an improved UI for unlocking lockbox, messages support landscape mode and there’s deeper integration with Google Duo.

How To Install Open Beta 11/3 on OnePlus 6/6T
Note: Please note that this is a beta build and an official release. This means there might be some issues, and the builds are not as stable as the official OTAs. Also, manually updating might erase everything on your phone, so please make a full backup of your phone. Please proceed at your own risk. Also,

Installation Guide
If you are already running a previous build from the Open Beta program, then the new update will be available as an OTA. Go to “Settings > System Update” and check for new updates. If there are no new builds there, then you can install the update file manually.
Step 1: Download the new beta build from the links above. Transfer the file to the root storage of your phone. You need to make sure to put it in the root directory, otherwise, the phone will not recognize the file.
Step 2: Go to Settings > System Update and tap the gear icon on the top right-hand side of the screen.
Step 3: Tap on Local Upgrade, Your phone will show the newly downloaded zip file. Tap on it and select Install.
Step 4: The update will take a few minutes to be installed on your phone. Please be patient.
Once the update is installed, restart your phone. That is it. Now you are running the latest Beta program on your OnePlus with the January patch.
