YouTube application for smartphones will soon have 1080p video resolution. The YouTube app is one of the best applications and it is a must have for your smart phone. The app allows you to easily watch different videos in good quality without having to go to the browser and watch the video there.
The video quality on the browser is not very good and a video in full screen mode is not very enjoyable. However, with the YouTube app, you search for the video, open it and watch it in HD resolution and the full screen mode works perfectly fine.
One bad thing about the app, especially on Android smartphones is the lack of 1080 Full HD video resolution option. You can watch the videos only on 720p HD which is not very satisfying for Android users as they have phones with 1080p Full HD and even 2K displays.
So, the lack of 1080p video resolution on the YouTube app is not a goo thing. However, a few users have noticed a Full HD option button when selecting the resolution. However, they weren’t able to find the button anymore later. This means that Google is testing the Full HD resolution on the YouTube and it will officially launch it very soon.
