Xperia Z2 Has Good Battery Life According To Battery Life Test

How’s the battery life of the Sony Xperia Z2? The Z2 is Sony’s flagship device for 2014 and it brings many new changes and goodies. It has a 5.2″ Full HD IPS LCD display with wide viewing angles for the best viewing experience possible, latest Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. These sectors are definitely big improvements over the Xperia Z1.

But, how is the battery life? The bigger display and faster processor require more power and the Z2 has only a 200 mAh batter counting at 3200 mAh. To solve this, GSMArena has done the usual battery life test. The results are out and the device performed very well.

The Z2 performed very good on all three tests: Web Browsing, Video Playback and Talk Time. The device was slightly better than the LG G2 and outperformed the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8) which respectively have 2800 mAh and 2600 mAh batteries. The Z2 got 22 hours on Talk Time test, 11 hours on Web Browsing and 12 hours on Video Playback.

These scores are decent for a phone with such a large battery. Of course, it wasn’t able to win against the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 which has a huge battery. Go here and check out the detailed results of the battery life test.
