Do you want to record the screen of your Android phone with 5.0 Lollipop? Screen recording on Android has become a lot easier on the new 5.0 Lollipop version thanks to new APIs. The “android.media.projection” API grants applications the ability to capture screen contents or record system audio.

When developers heard about the new API, screen recording applications started to appear on the Play Store. One example is SCR Screen Recorder app that we reviewed a few days ago. SCR is a great app which records high quality videos.

The downside of SCR is the fact that you need to buy the premium version of the app to access all the features. Most of apps have a free variant which allows users to screen record only for limited periods of time and created videos have a watermark.

Recently, a new app has been published on the Play Store called Unlimited Screen Recorder. This app is completely free. You can use this app to record videos for unlimited periods of time and created videos do not have any watermarks.

There are no limitations to video length and you can record for as long as you want without any problems. The only limitation will be your phone’s memory.

You can choose between portrait and landscape mode, choose audio sampling rate, enable or disable microphone and duration of video which can be set to unlimited.

Nice App, thanks for the sharing. Any guide on how to record iPhone screen? I found many guides about how to use QuickTime player to record iPhone screen, but I cannot get my iPhone 6s to connect – I don’t see them as an option in the drop down menu on quicktime. The lightening cord works/connects just fine. I used to do that with Acethinker iPhone screen recorder, never had the problem.
