Samsung is rolling out the One UI 3.1 update to many devices such as the Galaxy S20, S10, Note 10, and a number of midrange A and M series. However, the update is not available for the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+.
One UI 3.1 is the last One UI update based on Android 11. As of this moment, the Galaxy S9/S9+ has not made the list. Do not worry though, because there are custom ROMs already available for this phone.

How To Install
Step 1: Download the ROM file and transfer it to the internal storage of your phone.
Step 2: Turn your phone off and go into recovery mode. To do so, press and hold the Volume up, Bixby, and Power buttons at the same time.
Step 3: While in recovery mode, tap on BACKUP and select: System Image, Vendor Image, Boot Image, Data, Baseband and EFS. These fields are the most important to save your data.
Step 4: Then go back and tap on Wipe. Select Advanced Wipe and select system, vendor, data, cache, dalvik and swipe to wipe.
Step 5: Once you have wiped data, tap on Install and select the downloaded ROM file. Swipe to flash.
- For G960F/FD/N users: After flashing the ROM, immediately flash the camera fix zip file. Reboot your phone, and then flash the kernel fix file.
Step 6: Wait for the new ROM to be installed on your phone.
