How To Unlock Bootloader on Samsung Galaxy A03s

In this tutorial, you will learn how to unlock the bootloader on the Samsung Galaxy A03s. A bootloader is a piece of code that runs before the operating system. It instructs the phone on how to boot up and how to find the system kernel. The bootloader image is always specific to a device because every phone has different specifications and processors.

What is a bootloader?

As with any other Android phone, the Galaxy A03s has its own bootloader. There is an issue, however. Samsung has locked the bootloader of the Galaxy A03s for security reasons. If you are an average consumer, you will never care that your phone has a locked bootloader. But if you are a power user that likes to tinker with your phone, a locked bootloader is a big problem. ROMs, mods and custom files are a big part of the Android experience. However, with a locked bootloader, you cannot flash custom ROMs, kernels, or root the phone.

Before you can do any of these, you need to unlock the bootloader of your Galaxy A03s. Luckily, Samsung has made it very easy for users to unlock the bootloader, at least on the Exynos variants.

You can unlock the bootloader easily on the Samsung Galaxy A03s. You do not need any special tools. The unlocking feature is built-in in the phone.

  1. yeah what he said ^ samsung galaxy A03sU does not show the OEM unlock setting no matter what google search results guide you follow, it just doen’t sppear. Most of those guides swear up and down that toggling the time and date settings will work with any samsung phone guaranteed, but nope not this freaking phone, and all the other guides also yield no results.

  2. I’ve run into this before…..once you turn on developers options..(OEM Unlock ) will just appear after so long
If it shows up and is grayed out, that device can not b unlocked…hope that helps

  3. I’ve had mine for at least 8 months and developer options has been unlocked since day one and still does not appear
