Root Tutorial

  1. Download the Magisk zip file and move it to your phone.
  2. Turn it off and go to recovery mode. You can do so by pressing the volume up, home and power keys at the same time.
  3. Go to Install, choose “” and swipe to flash the file.
  4. Wait for the file to finish installing and then reboot your phone.
  5. Go to Play Store and download Magisk Manager.

Now you have just enabled root on your Galaxy S6 running on Nougat. You can test if you managed to successfully enable root or not by downloading one of the root-checking apps on the Play Store.

Now you can grant root access to every app that requires special permissions. Alongside root, you can find useful packages in Magisk Manager which you might want to install. Open Magisk Manager, go to Downloads and find a package that you like, such as Dolby Atmos, SoundMod, Viper4Android and more.
