The Google Recorder app is getting some new features that will help users to record, edit, and transcribe their audio recordings. Google released the first version last year, and now it has released Recorder 2.0 alongside the Pixel 5.
Google Recorder 2.0 brings some new features that users will appreciate. According to Google, the app is “The best app of the year”. A video that showcases some of the new features, has impressed a lot of users. The app can transcribe in real-time, and it can edit audio recordings in an instant. Google’s software prowess lets the app understand every word you say, no matter how complicated the word is, or how fast you speak. The best thing is it can do all of this without an internet connection. Everything happens in real-time inside the phone.

These features have made the app a must-have on any phone. However, Google has made the app available only on Pixel 5, following the same tactic as with the new Google Camera 8.0.
The good news is that the official APK file has been extracted, and the app can be installed on other phones, such as Pixel 4 and 4 XL, Pixel 3 and 3 XL, Pixel 3a and 3a XL, Pixel 2 and 2 XL. Below you can download the official APK file, and then install it using “Split APKs Installer” (SAI). You can download it from the Play Store.
