As always, the new KitKat update brings white status bar icons, new camera shortcut on the lock screen, full screen album art when playing music as well noticeable faster and better performance. If you are inside the update region, you can install the new firmware by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Update. There, a new update should be available.

If not, try if the firmware is available in Kies program. If the update isn’t available there too, you can always download the KitKat firmware and flash it through Recovery Mode. Download the firmware for Galaxy Mega 6.3 here while you have to wait for the Galaxy Note 2 Sprint version just a little bit more.

Have you updated your smartphones to the latest version of Android? If you have, how is the experience? Is is smoother than Jelly Bean or it has a few lags here and there?
