The Samsung Galaxy S5 has undoubtedly one of the best cameras for a smartphone. It has a 16 MP camera which can record UHD 4K videos at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, so it records videos with perfect quality for 4K TVs and monitors.
If you feel like 4K is too high, the Galaxy S5 can also record Full HD 1080p videos at a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 60 fps and HD 720p videos at 120 fps. Recording at 120 fps means that the video is in slow motion, so you can enjoy everything fast paced in a slower mode.
But as every other smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5 camera can be improved. Thanks to Android for being an open source operating system, making the camera better is not a hard thing to do. A mod called HX is the perfect solution for your Galaxy S5 and its camera.
One of main problem that many users report everyday is the inability to record UHD 4K videos for more than 5 minutes. Samsung has added a limitation and you can record only 5 minutes of 4K videos. With the HX camera mod, you can record up to 60 minutes of 4K videos, which is more than enough.
Other benefits of HX camera mod for the Galaxy S5 include increased bit rate for higher quality videos, increased audio quality, added outdoor visibility option, superfine quality mod, added slow motion option for all resolutions.
It also has fast motion which makes videos go faster and the option to take pictures with volume buttons while recording a video.
