The Google Camera app comes directly from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL system software. How To Use Night Sight on Samsung Phones
Once you have downloaded and installed the app, Night Sight is already enabled. All you have to do is to go to the camera app, go to “More” and tap on Night Sight. You can now take pictures in low light conditions.
If the app force closes or doesn’t work, then go to Settings > Apps > Google Camera and wipe data and cache of the app. This should fix any lag issues.
