The Nexus 6 has been on the market only for a short period of time and first custom ROMs have already surfaced. The Nexus 6 is Google’s flagship device and comes with some of the best specifications that a phone can have.
As a Nexus device, it has a lot of support from Google which releases immediate updates and also support from developers who create custom ROMs. The first ROM for the Nexus 6 that you can install on your phone is the Euphoria OS Beta 0.3 ROM.
Euphoria-OS Beta ROM is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is full of features that make it a lot better than stock. It has volume mods, DSP manager, increasing volume ringtones and profiles. When it comes to navigation, it includes double tap to wake, double tap status bar to sleep and wake on charge.
Security has been enhanced with security guard and blacklist for calls and SMS text messages. The ROM doesn’t have only features that users can see. It has been enacted under the hood to. It is based on AOSP, tether checking is disabled and data encryption is turned off (un-encrypted).
As we have covered on another article, data encryption, because it is a SW layer, it makes the Nexus 6 very slow. So disabling encryption makes the Nexus 6 noticeably faster.

- Wipe cache and data.
- Flash Euphoria-OS Beta 0.3 ROM from the SD Card.
