The Nokia Lumia 930 has a display problem. The Lumia 930 has a 5′ Full HD AMOLED display and Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. The display issue is related with a problem called purple tint where the display shows a light purple color on white and black backgrounds.
A problem like this shouldn’t be present on a high-end device like the Nokia Lumia 930. The good thing is that the purple tint issue is not a problem with the display. The problem is with the bad calibration Microsoft has done to the device.
And like every other software problem, the purple tint problem on the Nokia Lumia 930 can easily be fixed by changing a few options on the settings menu.
To fix the purple issue on the Nokia Lumia 930, go to Settings > Display -> Adjust Color Profile. There are a few options like neutral, purple and green. You have to move the slider to green in order to remove the purple tint.
Now, whenever your Lumia 930 displays a black or white display, it will be black and white and the tint issue will be gone.
