It doesn’t mean that the tool does not support your phone because according to previous users, the tool works on all iOS 9 devices.

There are a few issues and errors that can pop up while trying to jailbreak with Pangu. Some errors vary from ‘Stuck at 45% – Error (0A)’ to failed attempts, no Cydia app or Cydia app crashing and force closing.

How to fix iOS 9 Pangu Jailbreak problems

Cydia force-closes: If the Cydia app is crashing or force-closing, then you need to reset your phone. Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap on ‘Reset All Settings’. Reboot your phone. If the app still crashes, then tap on ‘Reset All Content And Settings’. Remember, this option deletes everything from your phone so make a backup before. Once the phone resets, run the jailbreak tool again.

Cydia app missing: During the jailbreak process, the developer of the jailbreak tool warns you that you need to accept a few pop-ups. If there is no Cydia app on your phone, it means that the process is not complete. Redo the process and a pop-up asking permission to iOS 9 photos app will appear. Grant access and let the process to finish.

Error at 45%: If you get ‘Error at 45% – Error occurred in preparing the environment, error code (0A)’, it means that Pangu cannot jailbreak iOS 9 because it cannot access system files. This is most likely because of ‘Encrypted Backups’. If that is the case, go to iTunes, connect your phone to your computer and go to Hardware > Backup. If ‘Encrypt iPhone Backup’ option is enabled, uncheck it.
