Xiaomi finally announced MIUI 12.5 during a press conference. MIUI 12.5 is an update to the popular MIUI 12, which is already available on a number of Xiaomi Mi, Redmi and Poco phones.
MIUI 12.5 does not feature drastic changes as MIUI 12 did. Instead, it improves and polishes the user experience thanks to smaller UI changes. The update brings two new super wallpapers: Snow Mountain and Geometry Wallpapers. There are new sounds, an improved notes app, and improved privacy.
Even though it has not been long since the announcement of MIUI 12.5, the update can be already installed on a number of Xiaomi phones. The company is already running closed beta variants of the update, which you can download below.

How to install MIUI 12 Closed Beta on Xiaomi Phones
- Download the proper MIUI 12.5 zip file for your Xiaomi device.
- Press the power button to turn off the phone.
- Press and hold the volume up and power keys. Keep them pressed until the phone boots into TWRP recovery.
- While in recovery, tap on Install, and choose the downloaded MIUI 12.5 ZIP file.
- Select the file and swipe to flash it.
