An official Samsung update for the Galaxy Note 3 has given the device a few Samsung Galaxy S5 features and applications. The update comes with the build number N9005XXUFNF4 and it is 185 MB big in size. As you have probably noticed it already from the build number, this update is available for the Snapdragon N9005 variant of the Galaxy Note 3.
This update is still Android 4.4.2 KitKat but it brings some special features which are available only on the Samsung Galaxy S5 like the improved KNOX 2.0 and KIDS mode application. It also brings Download Booster, a feature which allows the phone to merge WiFi and Mobile Data into a single fast internet connection.
The update has started rolling out in UK and all UK residents are eligible for update. Go to Settings > About Device > Status > Software Update and click Check for Update button. If your device is eligible, the update will automatically start to download.

The update is slowly rolling out to different parts of the UK so don’t worry if you haven’t received the update yet. Also, a OTA zip file is on the way for all those users who can’t wait to flash the new update.
