Enable 4K Ultra HD video recording at 60fps now on your LG G2! LG’s flagship device has very good specifications such as Snapdragon 800 processor, 3000 mAh battery, 5.2″ FullHD display, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 13 MP camera that can record 1080p videos at 60fps and not 4k UHD like some other smartphones such as Galaxy Note 3 and Xperia Z2.
It’s not because the camera hardware inside the LG G2 can’t support it. Instead, it is a very capable and powerful hardware but LG didn’t do too much when it comes to the software to enhance camera quality. That is why you can enable 4K Ultra HD video recording at 60fps on your phone with a mod.
This mod not only enables 4K video recording but also enables 720p recording at 120fps, 1600 ISO mode, HDR video mode, Magic Focus mode as well Anti Shaking video settings. This mos also supports Android KitKat ART and works on stock roms.
How to Install:
Before installing this mod, it is recommended to perform a Nandroid backup. If you don’t want to make a full backup of your phone, you can simply save the camera files that will be edited by the mod. To backup only the camera files download and flash this file here and to restore them download the zip file here.
Guide:
1. Download 4K Ultra HD mod for Jelly Bean here and KitKat here.
2. Turn off your phone and boot it into Recovery Mode (TWRP).
3. Choose the zip file that contains the mod and flash it.
4. Reboot your phone.
Because the mod doesn’t add an extra camera app, to verify that you have properly installed it, go to normal photo settings and if you have ISO 1600 option available, you are good to go.
