Apple has finally decided to release the Retina iPad Mini 2 in stores. That means you can buy one now. Unless you want to wait in line to get your hands on the latest iPad Mini, you can also buy it on Ebay or the official Apple website.
The iPad Mini 2 costs $400 for the 16GB variant all the way up to $700 for the 128GB variant. Note that these prices come with a two year contract. An unlocked iPad Mini 2 without a contract costs $530 for the 16GB variant and $830 for the 128GB variant.
The iPad Mini 2 comes with a 7.9″ retina display with a high pixel density of 324 ppi. It has the latest A7 chip together with the M7 motion processor and a 5MP iSight rear camera. And all this is powered by a huge battery that will last for more than 10 hours.
