There are many mods that can be used on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to improve it. There are scripts to improve the battery life, reduce lag, improve performance and more. Member “Bruno saa” from XDA forums has created a camera mod for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It removes some software restrictions made by Samsung. It removes the low battery warning. Basically, when the battery level goes below 5%, you will still be able to use the camera app and take pictures. Besides that, there is a limitation when it comes to how long 4K videos can be. The mod removes this limit and you can record 4K videos for as long as you want. Of course, until the memory gets full.
There are other features of the mod like the ability to give uncompressed images. The phone compresses images to reduce file size but this also reduces the photo quality. The mod takes care of this. Multi DPI and Galaxy S5 theme are other options of the mod.
How to install Galaxy Note 3 camera mod
- Download the Note 3 camera mod file: link
- Move the file to your phone’s internal memory.
- Turn off the phone.
- Press the volume up, home and power buttons at the same time to go to recovery mode.
- In recovery, install the zip file.
Once installed, reboot the phone and open the camera app. Enjoy better image quality and unlimited 4K video recording.
