There have been a lot of leaks and rumors about the prime variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5. There have been a lot of discussions whether this device will ever be announced or not. However, seeing the leaked photos, the answer is yes, there will definitely be a Galaxy S5 Prime with better specifications and better build quality than the original S5.
As you can see from the photos below, the Prime is going to have the same design as the Galaxy S5 but this time, instead of the faux leather, the back cover will be made out of aluminum, something that a lot of people expected on the Galaxy S5 back in March. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and Samsung users were disappointed.
The Prime not only will have high quality aluminum body but will also have a QHD 2K Super Amoled Display. This crazy resolution means that the PPI will be very high, more than 52o pixels per inch. If this is true, than this device will be a direct competitor of the Oppo Find 7 which also has a 2k LCD display.
Other big improvements the Prime will have are new Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU and 3 GB of RAM for unrivalled and blazing fast performance. There will not be a single competitor that can stack against this beast of a device.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime is closer than ever to being released and it will be the king of Android smartphones if these leaks come true. After all, this was the device that Samsung should have released on March.
