How To Enable Galaxy S6 Theme Support on Galaxy S5, S4, Note 4

In this article you will be able to install and enable the Galaxy S6 launcher and system theming feature on the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 4. The Galaxy S6 is considered as the best phone Samsung has ever created.

It introduces a brand new premium design with metallic sides and glass back, improved main and front facing camera, better performance and more. But the Galaxy S6 doesn’t bring better hardware only. The software has also been improved.

It still runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Touchwiz skin on top, but this time the company has made sure that Touchwiz is as light as possible when it comes to CPU usage and bloat apps. The Galaxy S6 comes with a slimmed down version of Touchwiz, yet it has some new features.

One of these features that isn’t available on older phones is the ability to download, install and enable various themes on the stock Touchwiz launcher and system. The ability to install themes came as a rumor a few months ago and looks like Samsung has finally finished it.

The Galaxy S6 has the ability to accept new themes besides the one that comes as a Touchwiz default. There is a store where you can download more themes if you want to spruce up the user experience. The Galaxy S6 theme option has been ported to other Samsung devices thanks to “Arter95”. This developer has also been able to port Galaxy S6 apps to other devices.

  1. Force Close every time I hit “Themes” from TouchWiz Home. Note 4 5.0.1 Snapdragon. Triple checked everything.

  2. I have it working but when I go to download more themes it says none available.

I also had force close issues. Make sure the apps are set to rw-r-r but the file that it goes in are set the same as the others I think it’s rwxr-xr-x
